Purchasing Skills Development Training
Grupas' Purchasing Skills Development training is designed to transform the purchasing function from an operational order-placing unit into a strategic cost and value management center. Starting from the purchasing process, needs identification (VOC), selection of supply sources, bid evaluation, delivery and quality control, and invoicing steps, the program builds an end-to-end competency set extending to supplier management, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), contract management, risk management, and negotiation techniques.
The training is supported by case studies from real business life: a 12-month TCO analysis comparing two suppliers, a price-locking (hedging) scenario using a futures contract in cotton procurement, and KPI tracking via a supplier performance dashboard. Lasting 2 days and consisting of classroom training and hands-on workshops, the program is conducted with a maximum of 15 participants for the highest efficiency, and a Certificate of Attendance is awarded to those who complete it.
