Process Management Training — From Strategy to Process Performance
This is a practice-driven Training & Development program designed for organizations that want to break down the "functional walls" created by the classic functional approach. Participants learn to redesign their work with a focus on the customer and the value created; to define the hierarchy of main processes, processes and sub-processes; and to map out each process in terms of customers, suppliers, activities, resources and objectives. The program advances end to end, from strategic management and SMART goal setting to the concept of process, the process management approach, the identification of critical processes (importance matrix, competence matrix, criticality index) and the stages of process management. Process flowchart symbols, a step-by-step process mapping guide, the RACI matrix, KPI dashboard logic, and a comparison of Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen together with a case study are included in the content. Group exercises include SMART goal setting, defining strategic aims and objectives, calculating the criticality index, mapping a recruitment process, and mapping a process belonging to the organization.
