Inclusion and Bias Awareness – A Micro-Training for Managers
Managers make critical decisions every day: promotions, performance, task allocation and hiring. Some of these decisions are shaped by unconscious biases that kick in without us noticing. Grupas' "Inclusion and Bias Awareness" micro-training focuses on awareness, decision quality and daily micro-behavior change, enabling leaders to make fairer, data-based and more inclusive decisions.
The program is offered in two formats: a 60-minute Core Awareness Focused session and a 90-minute Application and Deep-Dive Focused session. The content covers bias types (affinity bias, confirmation bias, the halo effect, stereotyping, recency effect), risk areas in decision-making processes, a 4-step fair decision-making model (Look at the Data – Question the Assumption – Ask for an Alternative View – Make the Decision Transparent) and inclusive leadership micro-practices. Delivered through interactive presentation, case analysis, self-reflection and small group discussions, the training's concrete output is each manager's own 30-day Inclusive Leadership Behavior Plan.
