Poka Yoke – Error Prevention Systems Training
Poka Yoke, a Japanese term meaning "error proofing", is a lean manufacturing approach focused on preventing process errors at their source. Grupas Gelişim's Poka Yoke Error Prevention Systems training teaches, through hands-on practice, how to design the devices, mechanisms and systems that stop human-related shortcomings (forgetfulness, misunderstanding, misidentification, carelessness, lack of experience and lack of standards) from turning into defects.
The program covers identifying error types (skipped process steps, processing and fixturing defects, missing/incorrect parts, equipment setting defects) and applying Poka Yoke techniques against them, such as physical controls, color and shape differentiation, counters and sensors, and audible–visual warning systems. Through real field application examples such as valve open-close errors and label reading errors, the "problem – solution – action" logic is conveyed in concrete form.
