Awareness Trainings – For Managers: Basic Psychological Needs and Leadership
Declining motivation, growing silence and mounting complaints within teams are often not a management problem, but a sign of an unmet psychological need. Grupas' "Basic Psychological Needs and Leadership" awareness training equips managers with the ability to read the dynamics behind human behavior. The program addresses five basic psychological needs — safety, belonging, feeling valued, autonomy and the perception of fairness — identifies the behaviors that emerge when these needs are damaged, and makes visible how leadership behaviors either nourish or weaken them.
The training is offered in two formats according to need and depth: a 60-minute awareness version, or a 90-minute in-depth version including case analysis and needs mapping. The methods used are interactive presentation, explanation of the psychological model, case analysis, small group work and leadership reflection. Participants leave the training with a concrete output: "A Needs Support Plan for My Own Team" and an actionable step to implement over the next 30 days.
