Quintiq Production Scheduling sequences work orders to the minute under machine, labor, tooling and material constraints. Advanced optimization considers setup times, due dates and priorities together to build an executable schedule and reschedules in seconds on disruption.
How it works
The scheduler holds each job's required resources and constraints in the model; the optimization engine sequences jobs to minimize setup loss and meet due dates. Planners intervene by drag-and-drop on the Gantt; on a breakdown or rush order the schedule recomputes automatically and the impact is shown at once.
